RESUMEN: Son pocos los años que se recogen en estas Actas, pero llenos de acontecimientos,en los que se ven envueltos muchos de los hombres que aparecen en ellas. Es la etapa final del concilio de Trento. Allí encontramos los nombres de destacados teólogos como Pedro de Soto, Juan Gallo y el portugués formado en Salamanca Gaspar de los Reyes; en la lista de los difuntos se mencionan también otros, que asistieron a las etapas anteriores, como Domingo de Soto y Melchor Cano. Ilustres por su enseñanza en las Universidades de Salamanca y de Alcalá; aparecen aquí los nombres de Domingo de Soto, Melchor Cano, Pedro de Sotomayor, Juan de la Peña, como recientemente fallecidos, y los nuevos nombres de Mancio de Corpus Cristi, y Bartolomé de Medina, Vicente Barrón, Pedro Ibáñez, confesores de Santa Teresa de Jesús. En plena actividad filosófica y teológica tenemos los Estudios Generales y los Colegios-Universidades: San Esteban de Salamanca, San Pablo y San Gregorio de Valladolid, Santo Tomás de Ávila y Santo Tomás de Alcalá.

ABSTRACT: Very few years are recorded in these Acts but are full of important events, which involve many of the characters that are mentioned in them. It is the final stage of the Council of Trent and it includes the participation of the prominent Dominican theologians such as Pedro de Soto, Juan Gallo, and the Portuguese formed in Salamanca Gaspar de los Reyes. The list of the dead also mentions other famous theologians and professors of the Universities of Salamanca and Alcalá, who died recently (Domingo de Soto, Melchor Cano, Pedro de Sotomayor, Juan de la Peña) and the apparition of new characters such as Mancio del Corpus Christi; Bartolomé de Medina, Vicente Varrón, Pedro Ibañez, confessors of Santa Teresa de Jesús. It is a stage full of philosophical and theological activity curried out by leading Dominican universities of the time (San Esteban in Salamanca, Santo Tomás in Ávila, San Gregorio in Valladolid, Santo Tomás in Alcalá de Henares.
