El "desapropio" del beato padre Celestino Alonso, OP (1862-1936)
Abstract
RESUMEN: El Desapropio, o renuncia a los bienes personales para ponerlos a disposición de la comunidad, ha sido una costumbre de largo arraigo en la Orden dominicana. El hallazgo del manuscrito por el que el beato Padre Celestino, martirizado en la Guerra civil española (1936-1939) efectuaba ese Desapropio da pie al autor para sobre esta costumbre tan típicamente dominicana, así como, brevemente, sobre la personalidad de su autor.

ABSTRACT: And old custom in the Order of Preacher was the Desapropio, the act or surrendering possessions and putting them at the disposal of the community. The finding of a manuscript belonging to the venerable fr. Celestino Alonso, martyred in 1936, in which he made this Desapropio, lets the author reflect about this custom so typically Dominican, as well as about the personality of the fr. Celestino.
