Resumen: Estas cuatro Actas de Capítulos Provinciales correspondientes al decenio de los años 70 del s. XVI son los mejores documentos para conocer y escribir la historia de los dominicos de la Provincia de España. Por ellas desfilan casi todos los dominicos que vivieron en esa Provincia durante esos diez años. En ellas encontramos los nombres de más significación histórica en el mundo universitario, particularmente en torno a la Faculta de Teología de la universidad de Salamanca (Mancio de Corpus Christi, Bartolomé de Medina, Domingo Báñez, confesor de santa Teresa, Pedro Fernández, etc.). Otros (Hernando del Castillo) sobresalieron en el campo de la Historia. Se dan a conocer, también, las diversas facetas de la vida conventual y de las múltiples actividades externas de los frailes en el orden social y eclesiástico.
Abstract: These four Provincial Chapter´s Acts which are from the 16th century around the year 70, are the best documents to know and write about the history of the Dominicans who belonged to the Province of Spain. In these documents we can find some names with historical significance which were part of the Faculty of Theology from Salamanca´s university, such as Mancio de Corpus Christi, Bartolomé de Medina, Domingo Bánez, Hernando del Castillo (in the field of the Dominican history). These documents deal also with the different aspects of the convent life and the friars multiple activities and social and ecclesiastical order.
