Resumen: Estas Actas manifiestan la historia muy detallada y puntual de los dominicos de la Provincia de España durante la década de los años 80s del s. XVI. Ahí aparece la situación concreta de la Orden en ese tiempo y en los más diversos y distantes lugares; la legislación actualizada a las exigencias religiosas, sociales y políticas de la época, los conventos antiguos y nuevos, el movimiento complejo según las necesidades en España, Europa y América, la situación y promoción de los estudios y la predicación, los escritos y publicaciones teológicos, filosóficos, históricos y pastorales. Se evocan las memorias de personajes sobresalientes como Bartolomé de Medina y Domingo Báñez, ambos muy destacados por su enseñanza en la cátedra principal de la universidad de Salamanca y por sus publicaciones.
Abstract: These Acts show detailed and precise history of the Dominican Province of Spain during the decade of the 80s of the 16th century. In the records appear the specific situation of the Order at the time and in the most diverse and distant places, legislation updated on religious, social and political demands of the time, the old and new convents , complex movements due to activities in Spain, Europe and America, status and promotion of studies and preaching, theological, philosophical , historical and pastoral writings and publications; memories of such outstanding figures as B. de Medina and D. Báñez are evocked, both very renowned for their teaching in the main chair of Theology at the University of Salamanca and for their publications.
