Culto y devoción a santo Domingo de Guzmán en la Córdoba de los siglos XVI al XVIII
Abstract
Resumen. El objetivo del trabajo es el estudio del culto y devoción a santo Domingo de Guzmán en Córdoba durante los siglos XVI al XVIII a través de una serie de indicadores significativos. Entre ellos destacan la elección del hábito como mortaja, las mandas de misas, la solemne fiesta anual en el convento de San Pablo el Real, la cofradía erigida en su honor y el impulso dado por el beato dominico Francisco de Posadas. ABSTRACT. The purpose of the work is the study of the cult and devotion to Santo Domingo de Guzmán in Córdoba during the 16th to 18th centuries through a series of significant indicators. Among them, the choice of the Dominican habit as a shroud, the commandments of masses, the solemn annual feast in the convent of San Pablo el Real, the brotherhood erected in his honor and the impulse given by Blessed Francisco de Posadas stand out.
