Dominicanismo y explosión rosariana en el convento de San Pablo de Sevilla: el carisma de Fray Pedro de Ulloa y el Laicado dominico en la religiosidad popular del Barroco

De la Orden de Predicadores en la Provincia Bética (o Andalucía) en torno al rezo y devoción del Rosario y su pastoral ante el laicado de la Orden y de la religiosidad popular de la Sevilla de fines del s. XVII y todo el XVIII. El Real convento de San Pablo se constituye en referente fundamental de este proyecto, que culminará en la fundación de la Orden Tercera y todo el fenómeno de los rosarios públicos y su asociacionismo. Desbordando por un lado la pastoral tradicional en torno a las Cofradías y al mismo tiempo configurando un innegable dominicanismo en la religiosidad popular sevillana.
Abstract: The figure of Fr. Pedro de Santa María Ulloa is the epitome of a process of renewal of the Order in the Province of Bética (or Andalucía) around the Rosary prayer and devotion and pastoral among the Dominican laity and popular religiosity in Seville from the late 17th century and throughout the eighteen. The royal convent of San Pablo constitutes a fundamental reference for this process leading to the founding of the Third Order and the whole phenomenon of public rosaries and their associations, which overflows traditional pastoral aside around the guilds, but configured while influence of the Order of Preachers in the popular religion of Seville.
