Abstract

RESUMEN: El presente trabajo trata de abordar el estudio del convento de monjas dominicas de la Encarnación en La Puebla de Sancho Pérez. Se lleva a cabo con la documentación señalada en la Introducción, a la que siguen otros capítulos sobre los orígenes y vicisitudes del cenobio, su patrimonio conventual y un capítulo titulado: Un final predecible. Creemos que este tipo de análisis nos permiten conocer bien cómo era la clausura femenina en el distrito de Llerena, perteneciente a la provincia de León de la Orden Militar de Santiago. ABSTRACT: This paper seeks to address the study of the dominican nuns convent of Encarnación in La Puebla de Sancho Pérez. It is carried out with the ducuments mentioned in the introduction, wich was followed by other sections about the origins and vicisitudes of the cenobian, monastery heritage and a chapter entitled: A predictable finish. We believe that this type of analysis allow us to know well life in the female close in the Llerena district, belonging to the province of León under Military Order of Santiago.
