Resumen: El presente estudio tiene como objetivo fundamental dar a conocer las características propias de las diversas Asociaciones fundadas en la isla de Gran Canaria durante la Edad Moderna bajo la advocación del Rosario. Transversalmente trataremos la influencia dominica en estas tierras en el marco de la expansión atlántica del reino de España.
Abstract: The purpose of this study is to present the characteristics of the various Associations formed on the island of Gran Canaria in the Modern Age under the advocacy of the Rosary. The influence of the Dominican Order in these lands will also be discussed indirectly in connection with the Atlantic expansion of the Kingdom of Spain.
