Abstract
RESUMEN: Este artículo recoge el testimonio de santidad de cuatro laicos, tres hermanos y una hermana, de la Orden Tercera de Santo Domingo de España a lo largo del siglo XX. Dos pertenecían a la Fraternidad de Barcelona, otro a la de Almería y la cuarta a la de Xátiva. Tres de ellos sufrieron persecución y martirio en la Guerra Civil, pero en la trayectoria vital de todos se hace evidente el renacimiento y pujanza de la Orden tras la exclaustración de los frailes y posteriormente los tiempos de la Guerra Civil y la persecución a los cristianos. ABSTRACT: This article studies the testimony of the holiness of four lay people, three brothers and one sister, of the Third Order of Santo Domingo of Spain throughout the 20th century. Two belonged to the Fraternity of Barcelona, another to that of Almería and the fourth to that of Xátiva. Three of them suffered persecution and martyrdom in the Civil War, but in the vital trajectory of all the rebirth and strength of the Order is evident after the exclaustration of the friars and later the times of the Civil War and the persecution of Christians.
