Abstract
ABSTRACT: The Book of de Council is one of the most important and official books of all Dominican convents. The conventual chapter is a gathering of the brothers, with the Prior presiding, to discuss or come to a decision about matters concerning the common and apostolic life of the convent and its good administration. This Chapter is ordinarily comprised of friars who are solemnly professed and who have active voice. In the Book of Acts the Secretary of the Council annotes all what has been discussed and specially the decisions. This study deals with the Acts of the Council of the convent trujillano de Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación, during the years 1814-1835. Key words: Dominican, Trujillo (Extremadura, Spain), Book of the Council, 1814-1835.Downloads
