Abstract

Resumen. En este trabajo se ofrece por primera vez una Introducción general y una parte del contenido de este Libro de Registro, de uso del Prior provincial de la Provincia dominicana de España. En él se anotaron nombramientos de Superiores, permisos, licencias, traslados de frailes de unos conventos a otros y otras determinaciones concernientes a la Provincia entre los años 1758 a 1777. El libro ofrece una interesante, amplia y rica documentación para el conocimiento de los dominicos durante ese periodo.

Abstract. This paper provides for the first time part of the contents of the Register Book of the Dominican Province of Spain. It was a book for the use of Prior Provincial including a wide range of items: designations, permissions, moves of friars from one convent to another, different licenses and other decisions. Indubitably it focuses on an interesting, rich and large information that gets to know life of Dominicans in Spain for that period of XVIIIth Century.
