El Patrimonio pictórico del monasterio de San Miguel y Santa Isabel de Trujillo. Catálogo monumental
Abstract
RESUMEN: Resumen. Se trata de exponer parte del patrimonio del monasterio de monjas dominicas de San Miguel y Santa Isabel de la ciudad de Trujillo. Este Patrimonio conservado y custodiado por las religiosas comprende una interesante colección de pintura, escultura, marfiles y platería que abarca los siglos XV-XX. Esto nos permite vislumbrar con cierta objetividad el papel social, político y religioso que tuvo el monasterio en distintas épocas históricas. Palabras clave: Trujillo, Dominicas, Patrimonio artístico, siglos XV-XX.
ABSTRACT. It´s a research work on the conventual heritage of the dominican monastery of San Miguel and Santa Isabel of the city of Trujillo (Extremadura-Spain). An interesting colection of scultures, peintre, ivories and silverware from the end of the 15th Century to the 20th.
