Keywords:
Convento, Murcia, DominicosAbstract
Abstract: The journey through the history of this convent shows a significant constant: teaching projection. Function that will be, from the beginning as intercultural dialogue position marked by the purpose of the conversion of the partners, the pretense of a University that enables children of Murcia neighbors, not only properly trained, but the precise qualifications for professional performance. Thus, the end of the 16th century and first half of the 17th constitute the period of more intense search for means and supports for its claim. They aren´t the only ones who have it on their horizon, Jesuits will be lagging behind. Neither will be achieve its objective. And it will be as open General study, without the ability to grant degrees. With all the intellectual position of the Murcian convent will be some prestige. It will be necessary to delve into the documentary research to conduct a study in greater depth on this important issue.
