Unpublished document of biographical interest about the theologist and professor of Salamanca friar Juan Vicente de Astorga
Abstract
An unpublished notarial document has come to light that sheds new light on the illegitimate origins of the Dominican theologian and Salamanca professor friar Juan Vicente de Astorga, known as "el asturicense", and explains the silence surrounding his childhood. The document clarifies that a dispensation for illegitimacy issued in the name of Juan Vicente de la Iglesia applies to him.
